After Samsung's foldable devices were announced, there was more speculation about the impending Galaxy S24 series. A design update for the Galaxy S24 and S24+ is the subject of today's rumour.

Ice Universe, a reliable source for Samsung information, predicts that Samsung would likely flatten the side frame to better match the design of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ currently feature flat backs but a slightly protruding central frame, although that will soon alter.

Given that design trends over the previous few years have shifted towards flat design and sharp edges, it's possible that the choice was influenced by outside sources. Or Samsung believes that regardless of trends, this will further enhance the Galaxy S24 design.

In any case, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is completely absent from the report; consequently, the Ultra will follow a different course than the Galaxy S lines up to this point. In order to distinguish the Ultra model from other Samsung products and make it more recognisable, Samsung typically makes small design changes.
